Youth Book Club

The Youth Book Club is a weekly academic activity that will guide 30 Trenton youth in independent reading, teaching them to apply meaning across texts, create analytical pieces of writing, and love reading for reading’s sake. Each participant will also be guided in conceptualizing, outlining, writing, editing, and proofreading an original book of their own, which will be published at the end of the program.

El Club de Libros Juveniles (The Youth Book Club) es una actividad académica semanal que guiará a 30 jóvenes de Trenton en la lectura independiente, enseñándoles a aplicar el significado a los textos, crear piezas analíticas de escritura y amar la lectura por el hecho de leer. Cada participante también será guiado en la conceptualización, bosquejo, escritura, edición y revisión de un libro original propio, que será publicado al final del programa.
